Database Assistive Technology: Reading Level/Lexile Score - DB

Lexile Range & Content Level

These databases allow the student to search by Lexile Range and Content Level. The Content Levels are categorized by "Basic" (green circle), "Intermediate" (yellow square), "Advanced" (red triangle).

 

      

 

This database allows student to search by Lexile Score, Lexile Reading Level, and Content Level ("Basic", "Intermediate", "Advanced") 

Reading Level

The following databases allow the student to designate the reading level of the articles they've search.  This assistive technology is useful for a variety of students, including struggling readers or ELL students.

Lexile Reading Score

Reading Levels 1, 2, 3

The Encyclopedia Britannica allows students to search by Reading Levels 1, 2, and 3. All of the articles are adjusted to the Reading Level chosen. The level selection is available in small tabs at the top right corner of the article.
