Senior Career Presentation Project: Home

The Assignment

Provide on Slides:

  • Detailed, clear information related to a career to be presented to the class: Explain what those in the career do, the education and training required to become one, the work environment, job outlook, salary, other information.
  • Several images related to the material covered.
  • Locations where trade will flourish, trade/college icons, illustrations.
  • A brief video clip related to career research conducted.
  • Your Google Slide presentation should be no less than 5 minutes.  You must have at least 12 slides.  (Place your Works Cited in as your 13th slide.)

 

Tasks:

  • Research your career field (find data).
  • Find images that illustrate your career.
  • Find a YouTube video that highlights your career.
  • Open Slides and create your own "template", use one from Google, or utilize one from Slides Carnival. 
  • Copy and paste URLs for the last slide.

SlidesCarnival

Now you have a choice!  You can stick with Google's themes or download one from SlidesCarnival.  Just pick a theme, Click on the Orange Box for Use as a Google Slides Theme.  Click on Make a Copy.  The copy will appear in your Drive.  Reuse/Add/Delete as you like.
